Stewart Armstrong Copeland (born July 16, 1952) is an American drummer and composer, best known as the drummer and founding member of the rock band The Police, and for his film, TV and video game scores.

Co-founder and drummer of The Police; composer of film and television scores (including Rumble Fish and The Equalizer) and video game music (including the Spyro series); involved with La Notte della Taranta and various world-music and orchestral projects.
