❝ Beware of underestimating the art of Von Till as a singer-songwriter, which should not in any way be considered a mere pastime, the intimate appendix, the surrogate of his monumental Neurosis: the primitivism of the latter sheds its electric armor and the rampant tribalism that characterizes them and gently pours into the interstices of intimate music, amid the grooves of a barely touched guitar and a voice with a warm and deep timbre.
❝ The album is all like this, never drums, occasional organ notes, and this voice that desperately accompanies you in your dark corners, on thoughts that are uncomfortable to travel on (as crows fly), that pities you but never offers you even the slightest chance of a sliver of light.
❝ In general, what strikes and captures is Von Till's deep, grave, lyrical voice, capable of developing splendid melodies.
❝ Spectrally supported by the acoustically arpeggiated and monochromatic soundtrack generated by the versatile Steve Von Till
