THE REVIEW

I watched an old episode of an afternoon program by Red Ronnie. The Starfuckers were playing, minimal noise tracks, amplifiers used as instruments, and a moment of silence before the end of the piece. Even the national Albertone made ironical comments, but perhaps he was more informed.

"This is music too," mocked the little red bush in full Gino Paoli trip. Red, you're no fool, how can you mock one of the best Italian musical expressions of the time?

"Sinistri" continues the path drawn by Rock In Opposition.

"THIS RECORD IS BORING AND TERRIBLE"

These guys line up the post-avant-garde of Cage, Xenakis, with the experiences developed in the New York avant-garde circuit.

Canvas-Silence disturbed by Noise-Music

Noise-Music disturbed by Canvas-Silence

Silence-words-noise like the magnificent "Stanze"

And the name "Area" pops up? Perhaps due to the courage to speak.

"Ordine Pubblico"

And everyone drooling over post-rock and the Slint.

Starfuckers ruthlessly disintegrated every form established over 30 years of rock, presenting its shapeless scraps anew.

Music that borders on silence, that has no destination, no why: a slap to the concept of music as an 'organized set of sounds.'
