Star One is a music project formed by Arjen Lucassen in 2002 that focuses on sci-fi themed heavy and progressive music and features guest vocalists and musicians.

Founded by Dutch composer Arjen Lucassen in 2002. Notable releases include Space Metal and Victims of the Modern Age and a live album Live On Earth. The project is characterised by sci-fi lyrical themes, a blend of synthesizers and electric guitars, and numerous guest vocalists.

Two DeBaser reviews praise Star One's space-metal sound, guest vocalists and strong compositions. Space Metal is noted as a high point; Victims of the Modern Age is described as darker and heavier. Musicianship, production and sci‑fi themes receive consistent commendation.
