Sponge is an American rock band from Detroit. Vinnie Dombroski is the group's lead vocalist and the only constant member. Their debut album Rotting Piñata (1994) and the follow-up Wax Ecstatic (1996) include notable singles such as Plowed and Molly; Have You Seen Mary appeared on the Chasing Amy soundtrack.
