Spitfire

Spitfire formed in Verona in 1982 and became known locally and nationally for a fast, Maiden-influenced metal sound. They released the 45 RPM "Blade Runner / A Quiet Man", performed through 1986, and reunited around 2004 to complete the album "Heroes In The Storm."

Lineup cited in reviews: Giacomo Gigantelli (vocals, bass), Stefano Pisani (guitar), Stefano Bianchini (guitar), Gaetano Avino (drums). They were compared to Vanexa, received press attention (including Rockerilla), and played cities such as Pavia, Verona, Bergamo, and Naples (with Vanadium and Strana Officina).
