THE REVIEW

Records of 2016: Part 14.

Do you remember the review at the beginning of the year of Gargantua by Space Mountain? ( https://www.debaser.it/space-mountain/gargantua/recensione )
In August, they came back with a work that is a bijou of all romantic and emotional lo-fi; a small evolution for a small band. The references don't shift from the usual The Magnetic Fields, Pavement, and Yo La Tengo.

Lots of imprecision, lots of love, and lots of soft distortion.

Summary by Bot

Space Mountain’s Big Sky is a charming lo-fi album packed with romantic and emotional vibes. The band evolves gently from their previous work, maintaining influences from The Magnetic Fields, Pavement, and Yo La Tengo. Despite some rough edges and imperfection, the album's soft distortion and heartfelt feelings make it a captivating listen.
