THE REVIEW

Because when my writing embolism starts, there's no way...

Because, with all due respect for the young gate, Badmotorfinger will forever remain the pinnacle of Soundgarden.

And this morning, on top of that, I posted a video that I found embarrassing: but let's leave our Chris alone, for heaven's sake.

It's only right and necessary to talk today about the single "Outshined": one of those auditory bombs that's been in my head for almost thirty years.

Starting from that video, which was torn apart at the time by the usual pretentious critics, showing the band captured, a completely fitting term, with a blood-red hue in the footage. The mystical figure of Chris looms large, capable with his vocal range so immense of sending shivers from the first note sung: devastating!!

The Led Sabbath to the nth degree. A fierce band: that's the most appropriate term to define Soundgarden of that period.

Metal and Punk clashing; amidst shreds of psychedelia. A toxic approach to that Hard Rock that recalls the Black Sabbath and even the best Zeppelin.

The track contains an atmospheric passage, around the third minute, of unheard beauty.

Then it's once again the colossal guitaring of Kim that takes control.

While Chris destroys a good part of his vocal cords.

After 1992, they will never be so mean, sinister, wild, heavy again: a true and apocalyptic sonic orgasm.

Because Badmotorfinger is one of my five life albums...JESUS CHRIST POSE...

It's only right for me to dedicate these few lines to that girl from Salento whom I miss so much on Debaser.

Diabolos Rising 666.
