Stepchildren of an Anesthetized Country Folk. Slow core, cellar-brewed alcohol

Semi-acoustic sounds relax on a veranda under the sun. Alcohol, drowsy melodies, and uneven tempos. Slow chords, a yawn, accordions, and one of Young’s many unwilling grandchildren. Will Oldham hobbling in a Van Gogh sunflower field

Acoustic evenings with slow-drawn strings follow a limping rhythm section to the first bar, "Uncle Bill". A place where slow strings sing of failures, loves, hangovers.

"SixFoot Of snow" awakens from the stupor, and then after the stride comes a piece that reminds me so much of Celentano playing poker in three.

Great shabby, melodic, minimalistic album like the smile of a man returning home to his wife after a hangover with friends.

A maybe rotten but sincere smile is worth much more than a thousand twisted words. And this music exudes lots of simplicity.

And the bar reopens after sunset, every evening.
