This is not exactly an album, but a demo.
I know, some might already be frowning (and if they haven't listened to the album, I hope it stays that way!), but we are looking at a record that has very little of a demo. Production? Worthy of the best mainstream bands. Technique? These guys know how to play! The idea: Brilliant!
Born a few years ago from the 'metal' ideas of two girls (yes!), lovers of power metal, they founded this band. Simple and concise bio; let's move on to the album.
These skilled guys managed to blend classical/symphonic music with metal without distorting it, without making it something already heard (Rhapsody?? Someone called them?? Stratovarius?? Same!).
Soul Takers, and they manage to fully capture the soul! I won't deny that my favorite song is The fakest jest... great keyboards, Gianluigi Girardi's fantastically versatile voice, and the lyrics are truly heartfelt.
Download the mp3 tracks from the site in the meantime (it's a shame they are only 64 kbps) and order the demo, which was produced in very few copies.
Recently, the singer left the band, a real shame, but we are sure the new vocalist will live up to expectations. They have now signed a new contract with a record label, and their first full-length will be released soon.
We wait, guys, we wait!
