The experience marks is one of those albums that leave you partially amazed. There's something about Luca Nuzzolo that's both familiar and unheard of at the same time, like the greats, those already established and indisputable in terms of repertoire and audience, and the Soluzione have this effect. You let it flow without interruption, absorbing everything it offers, and itâs not always pleasant but it's always magnetic, lucid and altered together, cerebral and interesting. I wouldn't even know what genre to categorize the CD in question.
There's a group that delivers lyrics like Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica, like Uochi Toki but in their own way. Musically, they are more gifted. They suffocate with millions of words and a sound that hints at electronics but doesnât overdo it, teeming with cellphone and video game sounds but doesnât suffer from it, it just makes you think that an alarm in the car next to you has gone off or that you missed something. Indeed, âmissed somethingâ is one of the thoughts that lingers after listening to L'esperienza segna. That is: have we listeners missed something that they, the Soluzione, have instead perceived? Therefore, and itâs no small thing, out of respect or envy, you end up listening to them again and again. Until the album is fully assimilated.
Thus, you fall in love with the title track, the splendid âAnni settantaâ, the romantic and unmissable âLuceâ. But also noteworthy are âInfettamiâ and âGeneâ and the instrumental âIntermezzo unoâ.
Without a doubt, they are great because they make what's never easyâinnovationâseem easy. And because, due to an irrepressible need, I keep coming back to listen, to capture words and sounds from this CD that seems to be written by a brilliant teenager or an old poet who is, conceptually, elusive.
