LA RECENSIONE

I love progressive metal. I thought there were no bands that could reach Dream Theater or Symphony X. Well, this band might not have reached them but the sound is there. This band is called Solid Vision, and with their new "masterpiece" "The Hurricane", they have put a definitive mark on Italian prog. More than Italian, I'd say Italo-Swiss since the Maillard brothers (drums and guitar) are from Bern. But what impressed me the most is that I hadn't heard progressive like this in at least 5 months. Dynamic, hot, and precise. Already with "Eleven", Sound Vision had firmly established themselves in the global progressive scene, and indeed this album confirms their strength, technique, and vitality!!

A piece of advice: spend those 15 euros, it's worth it!! Well done, strong, and Italian!!

Cleon, now the ball is in your court. . .
