I discovered the group from a compilation: Buddha Bar. The track "Naturally," I found interesting. Even though soul is not precisely my non-genre, I found it so appealing, light, and especially elegant; it made me think of the perfect piece. So, I got the CD, featuring the creative phenomena on the cover: on the left, singer Z-Star, and on the right, Morten Varano, the mind and creator of the project. Well, almost surprisingly, I found those sensations throughout the entire CD! Funk-jazz rhythms, sampled beats, electronic sounds, and always that feeling of perfection; it seems incredible that in 3 months and 21 days of study, they could bring such an album to life. The voice of the very talented Lady Zee or Z-Star (I believe she doesn't even know what to call herself yet) transports the listener on a dreamy night voyage, as testified by her influences—psychedelic soul and cinematic jazz. An album I can no longer do without...
