YOOAAAAAA. I apologize to all my fans for the long wait to review this concert.
The day was memorable, sublime, full of violence, red, destructive, aggressive. Brutal-Giò and I arrived at the gates of Alcatraz at 5:00 PM without a ticket, we saw a security man smoking a cigarette in front of a secondary entrance, Brutal and I understand each other and we beat him up, leaving him sprawled on the ground. We enter without worries and go to have two(thousand) beers… The mayhem begins…
The nine prophets enter in the dark and immediately it is madness. In an infernal atmosphere, they attack immediately with People=Shit YOOOAAAAAA, I start fighting with a kid, then I mosh with Brutal and then we hit each other; mastodonic sensation of violence that satisfies me physically and aurally. The speakers explode, Joey (the greatest drummer in the world) is diabolically great (I already imagine his hellish hands beating at superhuman speed the little body of Cliffburton86), the two percussionists spin and chew ruthless notes, Corey screams, makes himself heard, agitates and incites to hyper-violence, the mix is fierce, the guitars fantastic as always are cruel, evil…
Among so much moshing, madness, craziness, and mental alteration, songs (and punches) like Heretic Anthem, Spit It Out, Wait And Bleed slide away; then again Liberate, Surfacing, New Abortion, Left Behind and the murderous fury of Get This… I almost have an orgasm. Sid and Craig exceptional as always, Corey (the human beast YOOAAAAA) is an idol and Paul, Mick and Jim played guitar and bass like three possessed demons... I am increasingly furious, never stopping to mosh in front of the enraged notes of cruelty and ultra-violence.
Tonight THEY WROTE another page of music history. Note the mighty scenography: during the drum solo it started to spin on itself and rise to hell and then vertically, spinning until it stopped and the lights under the drum lit up forming the pentacle. Evil but singular. Once everything was over, there was still time to break two(thousand) teeth of two kids at the station who wanted to steal our backpack. YOAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I go home happy and diabolically satisfied by my Gods.
