How underrated can a band that makes decent music be? Extremely.
Since as far back as 2010, the Sleepy Drums have tried every way imaginable to emerge from extreme obscurity, from atomic uncoolness, from universal indifference, yet everything and everyone continues to soundly slap them on the foreskin, inevitably consigning them to the oblivion of memory and time.

But what are these Cincinnatians up to? They are a poor imitation of Husker Du, attempting to replicate the crystal clarity of the Pixies, scattering post-hardcore and melodic hardcore by the shovelful, and manage to emerge from a session of Weezer's Black Hole; perfectly mediocre.

And here comes the least important part, my discovery that I share shamelessly.
Thanks Jonathan, thanks for your eternal resilience.
