THE REVIEW

"Sleeptalker" is the name of a new band formed by four musicians with considerable experience and of not-so-young age. Coming from Nashville, they have chosen to classify their debut as a "mini-album" (preferring it over "EP"), showing uncommon potential.

It matters little that this is only a 29-minute work, because even in such a short time it manages to offer noble pop/rock music (listen to the depth of "Follow Your Guns") with great sounds and fresh atmospheres permeated with Radiohead, featuring an intense and delicate voice, capturing us in a simple way, with a complete sense of intimacy and relaxation, in something closely resembling the latest from Glen Hasard and his The Frames: the beautiful "The Cost".

"SimplifySimplify" has a non-revolutionary and spontaneous musical approach, although a particular attention to arrangements and production seems evident, but by their own admission, this is simply a way to begin, an idea, a direction to start from, with the real debut scheduled for next year.

If this is the expectation, they are to be seriously considered.

Best regards, Addison.
