Skinless are an American brutal death metal band formed in 1992 in the Albany, New York area. After the self-released debut Progression Towards Evil (1998), they released albums on Relapse Records including Foreshadowing Our Demise (2001). The band went on hiatus in 2011 and reformed in 2015, returning with Only the Ruthless Remain and later Savagery (2018).
