THE REVIEW

“Lieto Fine”, the new EP by Simone Costa, is a sonic journey through healing, nostalgia, chaos, and reflection. From the bright and liberating opening of Lieto Fine, to the suspended, dreamlike nights of Bianca la Luna, passing through the visceral and anarchic energy of Libera, to the contemplative melancholy of Capelli bianchi, the EP explores the complexity of human emotions with poetic lyrics and arrangements that blend tension and beauty. An intense musical narrative, balancing introspection and emotional impact, which gives every listener the space to find their own path through pain, liberation, and rebirth. The EP was recorded in Naples during the spring of 2022 and was entrusted to Marco Ancona, who oversaw the artistic production, mixing, and mastering at “La Villetta” (Lecce), thus sealing the artistic collaboration between the two.

Four songs that close a cycle and pave the way for a new album planned for 2026, explains the author:

“The idea for the EP was born to give listeners more songs in a single release—I was tired of the constant publication of singles as the digital market requires today, I felt the need to close an artistic and personal cycle…”

Lieto Fine EP is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and all digital stores.
