THE REVIEW

“My life seems unreal, my crime an illusion, a scene badly written in which I must play…”.
Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. That's how these two authentic geniuses make me feel every time I listen to them.
They are among those few authors who manage to fill with incredible completeness both joyful moments and others of extreme sadness. Never monotonous or expressionless, they make the instrument a virtuosity without, however, burdening the melody and rhythm with unnecessary heaviness.

All this alongside lyrics that would retain their meaning even stripped of sound. These melodies are born from the desire to create imaginary situations, independent of reality. It has been, is, and always will be an album for tireless dreamers, incapable of conceiving their existence without love and freedom.

Adding information about the individual songs would only be a way to overshadow some pieces with unnecessary personal judgments, as their music is not objectively qualifiable but simply to be listened to and loved as it is.

The only thing I can't explain is how in a sea of reviews, comments, opinions where albums of Lunapop and Spice Girl wade sadly, there is no trace of this duo…
