Silica gel is a catalyst in chemical analysis! Silica Gels are not only catalysts of Spanish hearts in the Barcelona nightlife, but they are also great composers of a light and dreamy synthpop!

This album flows smoothly with the exception of a few tracks that are very and perhaps too pop ("Yo so noy un robot", "Ni un segundo", "Donde stas")!

Compared to the previous “Genesis”, the album is more lively in the lyrics and danceable in the sound even though pieces like "Si no vuelves" (yo muero) have a lot of that Latin melancholic cry that makes Italians, Spaniards, and French the most sentimental peoples!

Of course, the reference to the usual pioneers of the genre (Depeche Mode) is a backbone of the album, as well as modern influences like their more acclaimed compatriots OBK! Exodo perhaps as a migratory and melancholic escape from those boundless places where tenderness and peace of mind reign, knowing one is living a sueno (dream), because sooner or later reality and hardship return!

As in the song "Ayudame": "arena fe, riscaldame" (help me faithful sand, warm me...)! "A drink in lost time another sip of bitter reality..." sings the first single "Carpe Diem", given to the first 50 fans who - seizing the moment - bought the ticket for their presentation on April 25th in the most equipped and famous live venue of Madrid, the "Sala Taboo"!

The album closes with "No puedo mas" and "Ya no hay nada", let's say the final ballads!

Sole note for "Tres veces" which seems to be a bit copied here and there and the singing reminds me of an old-style Morgan...
