Formed in Osaka in 1981 by Naoko Yamano, Atsuko Yamano and Michie Nakatani, Shonen Knife is a Japanese pop‑punk band known for upbeat, whimsical songs and a long international career. The band released the tribute album Osaka Ramones in 2011.
