THE REVIEW

This "Live from Miami" encompasses the greatest hits of the Colombian vocalist's career... and Shakira amazes once again, with special effects and great performances. We start immediately with "Estoy aquí", introduced by the strumming of a sitar, quickly moving on to the more recent "Te dejo Madrid" and immediately to the hit "Don't bother", which Shakira performs with her electric guitar. A short pause in Spanish to introduce the magical "Antología" (where she tells, among the audience's laughter, about her first crush), and soon here is "Hey you", a catchy track from the latest album. Another brief pause to introduce the splendid evergreen "Inevitable", which moves the entire audience, but soon the aggressive Shaky of "Si te vas" returns, where she argues with an ex-boyfriend.

When Alejandro Sanz enters, everyone knows it's time for the hit "La tortura", where the great chemistry between the two artists is evident. We return to romantic notes with "No", where Shakira performs a fascinating choreography with the long sleeves of her dress. Certainly, "Whenever, wherever" could not be missing, introduced by a hypnotic belly dance, and a dive into the audience. There is a temporary switch to English to introduce the band, and again the romance with "La pared", "Underneath your clothes". Here is the early Shakira in "Pies descalzos" and "Ciega, sordomuda", making the audience roar. Second to last are the Arabic sounds of "Ojos así", enhanced by three choreographies. How could such a concert end if not with an adrenaline-pumping "Hips don't lie"?

Beautiful, exciting, fun concert. The only flaw: the photography at certain moments isn't good. But one hardly notices, lost in Shakira's world.
