Shadowfax are an American instrumental band from Chicago associated with Windham Hill; their debut album Watercourse Way was originally released in 1976 and later reissued by Windham Hill in 1985.

Led by Chuck Greenberg (mentioned in reviews), Shadowfax blended progressive rock, jazz‑rock and fusion influences and released material on Windham Hill; Watercourse Way (1976) is cited as their debut and was reissued in 1985.
