Second Album by Sergio Endrigo, titled "Endrigo (1963)", is a singer-songwriter and melodic album, like the usual Endrigo.

The album starts with a great single written by Bacalov-Fersen, "Se Le Cose Stanno Così", a very nice melodic-western song that opens the LP very well. Endrigo's song "I Principi In Vacanza", a singer-songwriter song with hints of twist, a genre that was popular in those years. "Annamaria" is the third song on the album, also written by Endrigo, giving us a good melodic song with Latin nuances, away from the usual songs of the singer-songwriter. It's time for another unusual ballad, far from Endrigo's songs, "Un Giorno Come Un'Altro", a nice livelier song, with beat nuances, different from Endrigo's style. The song, like the previous one, is written by the pair Bardotti-Endrigo, "Forse Penso Anch'Io A Te", a very, very sentimental ballad, pleasant, recalling great interpreters of Italian and global songs. An Endrigo-style acoustic guitar, "La Rosa Bianca", a melodious singer-songwriter piece, with a beautiful harpsichord accompaniment, which is worth the entire album. This song for some might lead to singer-songwriters like the great Fabrizio De André, Branduardi, Di Bari...etc., but perhaps they are the ones who were inspired by him (addressed to all Italian singer-songwriters similar to Endrigo).

I flip the vinyl and listen to the first verse of "Era D'estate", a fabulous Italian song, written by the usual pair Bardotti-Endrigo, interpreted very well. The second song is "La Guerra", another Endrigo piece, very deep, but at the same time funny, in my opinion, so far, this is one of the Endrigo albums I know. "Ora Che Sai", beautiful melody, Endrigo, just one word, chapeau!!! Sergio Endrigo "Canta Pierrot", this is the title of the penultimate song of this LP, very beautiful, here Endrigo cools down, and revives, performing a lively dance song, light years behind the previous ones. The album closes with the song "Devi Ricordar", a song not written by Endrigo, too old, not very appealing, compared to the other melodic ones.

However, even if the album doesn't close excellently, it's still an excellent record, which I recommend everyone to listen to.
