The sensitive side of The Scorpions.
Twenty-five minutes of carefully chosen “ballads” dating back to the EMI period. Without any claim of originality (several antecedents during the Seventies), we are in front of songs crafted with care and expertise, so famous and recognizable that they are a true trademark.
Unconcerned about the junk paraded in the Eighties by countless glam metal bands, at the end of the decade the German band produces this mini-collection as short as it is perfect: a concentrated drink of melancholy, it matters little if it’s intercepted by mere nostalgics or emotional teenagers. In the following decade, the work will be reissued in an expanded version (as presented in the DeDatabase), but the undersigned prefers (and proposes) this version, perfect in its simplicity.
Original tracklist:
1. Still loving you
2. Holiday
3. When the Smoke Is Going Down
4. Always Somewhere
5. Lady Starlight
