The Profile

Formed in Los Angeles in 2003, Scarlet's Remains quickly became noted within Californian-style death rock. The lineup included eveghost (vocals), Tony Havoc (credited with forming the band), Johann Schumann (early bassist), Benn Ra (guitar), and later Barry Galvin (Bari Bari) and Marzia Rangel. Their self-titled debut was released in 2005 and The Palest Grey in 2007.

Debut album Scarlet's Remains released in 2005 on the German label Dark Dimensions/Alice in.... Johann Schumann (former bassist) died in November 2020 at age 61. Barry Galvin is also known as Bari Bari and worked as producer/sound engineer on the debut.

Scarlet's Remains, formed in Los Angeles in 2003, are presented as a standout example of Californian-style death rock.
