Here I am back in the role of music critic to review this work of art far too ignored by the media due to the PD. This is Sbattiato - Scollection, which is the most complete collection of the work of the legendary Sbattiato. You can start from here to get to know Sbattiato; the album is from 2016, but it contains songs made in previous years.
Sbattiato is the only Italian singer-songwriter who has shown us the world from a different angle, as if we were tilting our head to one side and sticking it in the butt of a baboon. Is it the apparent nonsense of the lyrics? Is it that refined way of describing situations and feelings? So many questions, so many hypotheses... But it is useless to stay here asking questions that will surely never have answers; it is much better instead to lose oneself among the notes of some of his most famous songs, "Quando ero Giooig," "La Cura Anale," "Cuccurucuculo"... and spend a pleasant evening in the name of nostalgia for the giooig times that will never return. The fact is that Sbattiato makes the listener experience unique sensations and emotions, difficult to describe. No other Italian author transmits such an attitude of the anus. Listening to him, you come into contact with a part of yourself that you didn't know you had, and after discovering that part, there is no turning back. Sbattiato, like an alien from the cosmos, shows us and makes us experience new perceptions of reality, teaching us to look at the world with new eyes.
