THE REVIEW

After a splendid debut in 2002 with "The second you sleep", here is the follow-up from this Danish band, titled "These are the days".
A fine album, perhaps rougher and less complete compared to the previous one, yet still attributable to Saybia's typical sound. Some more rhythmic pieces, like the single "Brillant sky" or "Bend the rules", and many atmospheric tracks, generally acoustic sounds, with airy and melancholic melodies, where once again Soeren's great voice manages to make the lyrics, which are always very introspective in content, even more intense.

A band that in my opinion deserves great attention: catchy melodies, but crafted with style, like those of Saybia, are not heard much around... One to keep an eye on!
