Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful...
In summary, this is "In Defense Of The Genre". A double album filled with rock sweetened just the right amount by a layer of tasty Pop cream (not too sweet, though...) and a sprinkle of electronics (not much, to be honest).
Commenting on all 27 tracks would be a bit tedious on my part; it's enough for you to know that there’s a bit of everything in here, and it’s always of quality: sparkling indie/rock ("This Is Fucking Ecstasy", "Skinny Mean Man"), pop ballads straight out of a musical(!) ("That Is Why"), a more intense flirt with Pop/Punk ("People Like You Are Why People Me Exist"), but classy - not the shopping mall kind that plays on our TV screens, and in general, abundant doses of Pop/Rock (I'm afraid to use this term since many people automatically associate it with "steaming crap", but I must) as catchy as it is edgy, solid, and robust (and excuse me if that’s not much).
A truly amazing album, period.
