Two DeBaser reviews praise Sarah McLachlan's songwriting, emotive voice and introspective themes. Fumbling Towards Ecstasy is presented as a peak of her work; Afterglow as a mature, melancholic, folk-tinged album. Both reviews note careful production and lyrical depth.

For:Fans of 90s singer-songwriters, listeners of piano-driven folk/ambient pop, readers interested in lyrical, introspective music.

I am very surprised not to find any review of Sarah McLachlan on DeBaser, if only for the fact that her "Angel" (featured in Surfacing from 1997) has been presented in every possible way, among various soundtracks and guest versions.
