Founded in 1977 by guitarist Paul Samson; NWOBHM-affiliated British band. Early members included Bruce Dickinson (as Bruce Bruce), drummer Thunderstick, bassist Chris Aylmer (R.I.P. 2007), and at one stage Clive Burr. Paul Samson passed away in 2002. Albums praised by reviewers include Survivors (1979) and Head On (1980).

Two reviews chart Samson’s role bridging 70s hard rock and the NWOBHM surge. Survivors is framed as a transitional debut with standout guitar work by Paul Samson. Head On gets praised for raw, convincing energy, Bruce Dickinson’s ‘Bruce Bruce’ era vocals, and the Iron Maiden-linked “Thunderburst.” Overall tone is appreciative, with emphasis on sincerity and power.
