Salvatore, known as Sabù, is no rookie. He has been around the Italian music scene for quite some time. In his career, he was a finalist in the new proposals of Sanremo in 2014. But even before reaching this important milestone, he worked as a songwriter for several record labels. It's precisely his role as a songwriter that we want to emphasize when considering listening to this album. The songwriter Sabù, in fact, beyond good pop-rock production and an undeniable sense of song structure, is the true protagonist of this record. A record in which Alaimo bares his soul. Many try to do so, but often fragments of life, feelings, the angst of everyday life, pains, and existential torments become fragile material in the hands of many songwriters—a mere exercise in style. This cannot be said of Sabù, fortunately. The existentialist arsenal, the exaggerated life that brought so much success to Vasco Rossi (definitely one of the artists that comes to mind when listening to Sabù), in Digital Generation are themes that, as an "enlightened" songwriter as he is, sound anything but clichéd. On the contrary, they strike us with their sincerity and immediacy.
