I Rule Them All draw heavily from the Dischord and Jade Tree period at the turn of the 90s, adding a slant oriented towards more metal sounds like Helmet and Unsane, while still maintaining an emo imprint (Fugazi). They are children of those bands that were neither meat nor fish, like Verbal Assault or Eidolon.
