In case you were wondering who the guy is to whom Led Zeppelin dedicate "Hats off to Roy Harper" in their third album.
In case you want to know about that mysterious presence in Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar," in the famous "Wish You Were Here."
In case you want to sip on a great album from 1971 that deserves far more glory than it has received.

The stormy rooster gives us just four beautiful long tracks, each about ten minutes long. Beautiful acoustic guitar embroidery, probably among the best rock-folk style arrangements I've ever heard. In "The Same Old Rock," there's also a great solo by Jimmy Page, who signs as S. Flavius Mercurius on this occasion in the liner notes.
