"Well you can lead a horse to water
But you're never gonna make him drink
And you can lead a man to slaughter
But you're never gonna make him think"
--- "Hors d'Oeuvres"
In case you were wondering who the guy is to whom Led Zeppelin dedicate "Hats off to Roy Harper" in their third album.
In case you want to know about that mysterious presence in Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar," in the famous "Wish You Were Here."
In case you want to sip on a great album from 1971 that deserves far more glory than it has received.
"All along the ancient wastes the thin reflections spin
That gather all the times and tides at once we love within
That build the edges round the shrouds that cloud the setting sun
And carry us to other days and other days to one"
--- "The same old rock"
The stormy rooster gives us just four beautiful long tracks, each about ten minutes long. Beautiful acoustic guitar embroidery, probably among the best rock-folk style arrangements I've ever heard. "you don't need your gun boy, we're already dead"
--- "One Man Rock And Roll Band"
In case autumn is your favorite season. Because the sunset is my color, darkness is my lover.
"Space is just an ashtrayFlesh is my best wheel The atmosphere's my highway And the landscape's my next meal"
--- "Me and my woman"
Because it's true, space is just an ashtray.

Man & The Myth... breaks these generational barriers and invites us all to engage individually and then all together as a society.
