Rotterdam Terror Corps are a great gabber group that shatter eardrums at every illegal rave party organized in the Netherlands and Germany, with a particular sound that can't appeal to everyone.
The term gabber refers to some of the people who listen to hardcore and participate in hardcore raves.
The term originated in Amsterdam and comes from the word khaver, which means friend. It seems that a boy passionate about hardcore music wanted to enter a club where the bouncer told him, "No gabber, you can't enter." However, the word might directly come from English with the meaning of "trouble-maker".
Gabbers wear Nike shoes (Air Max Classic, TN, 90), military boots, bomber jackets, tracksuits from brands like Australian and Cavello. Many of them had shaved heads. The girls often kept just a ponytail behind the head with the nape shaved to zero. Later, from 1997 onwards, their dressing style changed more and more, and brands like Lonsdale, Fred Perry, Ben Sherman, and Pitbull Germany began to mark their style.
The song "Hardcore Vibes" belongs to the new style, it is a more "hard" genre compared to "happy" Hardcore, it is faster and more rhythmic. The Nu Style is characterized by simple melodies and sounds, highly danceable. The bpm ranges from 140 to 180. Today it is preferable to call it Nu-Style since the term new is used by many to indicate the new Hardcore (produced from 2000 onwards) which today has completely replaced Hardcore Oldstyle and the old Hardcore Nu-Style; in fact, it is a sort of "compromise" between the two styles; in this list, it is found under Main style (Main Hardcore style). The main exponents of Hardcore Nu-Style are: from tekno warrior Mark v and Poogie Bear. By now, Hardcore Nu-Style music is no longer produced, its official heir is the music genre jump style.
The melodies of this song dance between a very repetitive and harsh movement of the synth that explodes at every beat marked by a sound akin to a pencil drawing on a sheet of paper, precisely to specify that this song is dedicated to all the writers (that is, graffiti artists) of the world, who work hard, risk getting caught with no profits, only for passion.
Often, the passion for this music is confused with the use of chemical drugs, but those who love the genre know that these two things are not always related. . . .
Hardcore Vibes is the anthem of the new generation "discotheque people", because my grandfather tells me about the war, my father talks about '68, what will I tell my son???? About the drugs that destroyed my brain. . .
Ded to: better times. . . . i hope. . . . for mai san. . for mai waif. . . for mai futur brater end sista. . . . yo. . . to the writer in the nation. . . .
