Nothing about Henry Rollins is to be discarded; at least as far as I'm concerned.

Everything is accepted; and appreciated. As in the case of "Get Some Go Again" released at the beginning of the new century.

Despite the many criticisms from a fair share of the music journalism of the time; oh, please!!

In this review page of mine, you will find only great words; certainly, it’s only fair to say, the album does not reach the absurd heights of heaviness, ferocity, and viciousness that can be found in the previous "Weight" and "The End Of Silence". Still, we are faced with a series of explosive, rock-solid songs where the ex-Black Flag (a necessary mention!!) brings out the usual attributes and gives us another work of exaggerated physicality.

Henry loves risk, loves to put himself on the line. So he completely renews the band's lineup; calling upon the unknown trio of Mother Superior; he self-produces to avoid too many discussions about it. He plays what he wants, without having to give explanations, without justifying himself.

And the result convinces; oh, it convinces.

The sound of a distant bass kicks off the first track "Illumination"; a few guitar notes introduce Henry's unmistakable voice. Seconds of nerve-wracking anticipation and then suddenly it takes off, we depart, and a Hard-Rock storm begins for the next few minutes. Six-string solos capable of immediately heating up the listening experience; deadly stop-and-go. It's time for the title track; barely two minutes (short on time, obviously) that shake the walls of your house; we are close to the Hardcore fury so dear to Henry.

The angry and brief burst of "I Go Day Glo"; the wild ride of "Are You Ready?"; until we reach the highlight of the work. I'm referring to "Hotter And Hotter" featuring the heartfelt and massive participation of a certain Wayne Kramer. His is the Hard-Noise-Psychedelic solo that starts the last part of the song: DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much I miss you, Henry, for heaven's sake...YOU LET YOURSELF DOWN...

Ad Maiora.

P.S. If Wayne Kramer and/or the MC5 mean nothing to you...better not insist and go document yourself, immediately...AZZ...
