Under a light rain, the song of a shaman rises, a solemn and moving breath, directed towards the deities of the earth. The senses merge with the surrounding elements, every drop can be perceived, one feels part of that tiny swirl of motions that carry the water from the high forest canopies down to the ground. A perfect symbiosis in which the loudest storm and the imperceptible beating of an insect's wings mark the moods and emotions of our time.
And so, every season of the year, every moment of the day brings with it its own sensations which, slowly changing, make every single moment unique, so much so that it is worth living. There is no corner of the mind that cannot be discovered, no mood that cannot be generated.
This is Rich's story of a journey. A journey in which a man, evolving his own intimacy, has learned to capture the beauty of the smallest microcosm equating it with that of the whole.
A journey lasting 7 hours which, like much ambient music, teaches us to live the details that surround us and make them the soundtrack of our everyday life.
Perhaps it is time for us to leave as well.
