Robert Palmer has always stood out by often embracing the sounds of black America, funky, soul, and R&B; for a white military brat raised in Malta, this was the right choice that unmistakably defined his artistic journey, which ended in 2003 due to a heart attack. After a career spanning more than a decade and marked by consistently interesting and personal work, "Double Fun", "Clues", "Pressure Drop", Robert Palmer captivates everyone with an incredible song.

"Addicted To Love" is probably one of the most energetic and erotically charged songs ever, a biting guitar melody over a heavy rhythmic base, on which his magnetic singing is added. Palmer's explosive personality also marks the song's video where he is accompanied by incredibly sensual female musicians who heighten his appeal to the female audience. Indeed, the good Robert was a man of great charm, and this characteristic was always highlighted on his album covers, from the hotel room with a naked girl on the balcony in "Pressure Drop" to the pool in "Double Fun", where Palmer is entertained with two obviously swimsuit-less girls.
