Roberto Concina, known as Robert Miles, was a Swiss electronic composer, producer and DJ, best known for the 1996 album Dreamland and the hit single "Children". He died in 2017.

He founded the Sa:lt Records label and lived in Ibiza.

DeBaser reviews present Robert Miles as an innovator who popularized a dream/trance sound with Dreamland but then pursued experimental directions. Reviews praise his melodic sense and later adventurous albums (Organik, Thirteen) while noting uneven results (23am). Overall perception is respect for ambition with mixed reactions to execution.

For:Listeners of 1990s electronic, dream/trance and ambient music; fans interested in artists who moved from hits to experimental work.

 House music. But relaxing.

A real flop, in short, which drove him to part ways with his record label and to found his own label, S:alt Records, for which he created challenging and even more experimental projects, depicting an artist in continuous search of a musical identity, probably never found.
