The review praises the Epstein–Friedman documentary as a respectful, flowing tribute to Linda Ronstadt, tracing her Mexican-American roots and wide-ranging repertoire. It highlights Ronstadt's versatility, career milestones (1970s hits, collaborations) and the documentary's emotional focus on her loss of voice due to Parkinson's. The film collects testimonies from collaborators and ends with a personal musical moment.
