I Ritmo Tribale no longer exist.

The last album "Bahamas", good and courageous, however, left a bitter taste because it was recorded without Stefano "Edda" Rampoldi, singer and soul of the group who had left (or was removed) - they say - due to problems with drugs. It's truly a pity not to have had the chance to hear his wonderful, touching, and vibrant voice capable of transitioning from a nihilistic punk scream to phrasing worthy of Demetrio Stratos within the same song. Wherever he is, whatever he is doing, I hope he is well...

"Tutti vs Tutti" comes after "Kriminale," a masterpiece album of Italian post-punk that with its anger-poetry binomial was destined to become epoch-making. Here the Ritmo partially abandon hardcore fury to give life to eclectic songs which in some way could be defined as evolved crossover, which would find final realization in the subsequent "Mantra." Riffs that nod to certain metal, punk accelerations, Zeppelin-like ballads and over everything, I will not tire of repeating it, the majestic voice of Edda.

Listen to believe "Domina", an intense ballad that floats between arpeggiated guitars and big riffs governed by the incredible interpretation of our Man which hurls you into a whirlwind of emotions that, for those with weak hearts, can lead to tears. But in this album there's also the grunge of "Ci Sei", the uncontrolled funky-metal of "Stato Di Rovina", "Mother" another thrilling ballad, and "Uomini" already included in "Kriminale" here in an even more touching version. A beautiful album and perhaps unjustly underrated compared to others in their discography. Seasoned as usual moreover by beautiful, violent and visionary lyrics, a slap in the face to a world in suits and ties which is ridiculed and depicted here as only the talent of a poet can do.

 Love at first listen!

'Tutti vs. tutti' is indeed a crossover album as it was done in the early '90s, directly influenced by bands like Living Colour, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers... with the added value of the unique and extraordinary voice of the singer Stefano "Edda" Rampoldi.
