LA RECENSIONE

Hello everyone, as my first review, I wanted to express my opinion on the latest album by Rise Against (my favorite band). This album has been criticized by most fans, and I understand why, as it revisits the style of their previous work "Endgame," which not everyone liked.

I was eagerly anticipating the release of this new album, hoping it wouldn't be as anonymous as the previous one. They managed to achieve this, yes, but only in the first part of the CD, what a shame.

The album opens with the beautiful "The Great Die-Off," although the chorus doesn't fully convince me. It continues even better with "I Don't Want To Be Here Anymore," a beautiful song and obviously a single, like the following "Tragedy + Time," which is nice but I prefer the previous one, and the video is the ugliest ever made by Rise Against.

We arrive at the best track on the album, a return to the past, unfortunately being the only one, I'm talking about "The Eco-Terrorist In Me." After this beautiful track, the album falls into its anonymous part, the only ones that stand out are "Zero Visibility," which is nice and different from other Rise Against tracks and may or may not be to your liking, "Awake Too Long," which is decent, and "Bridges," of which I really like the fast and fitting ending to conclude a decent album.

An honorable mention goes to "People Live Here," which is very, very nice, although I prefer "Hero of War" for the emotional impact of the track.

In conclusion, I wouldn't say it's a bad album, a decent work, although I wanted a return to the past, I was hoping for a second "The Sufferer And The Witness," my favorite album. I'm waiting for the concert, who knows when they'll come??

The problem for me is that this album has already been made 2 or 3 times by the band!

A story rich in emotional peaks like that of Rise Against risks becoming a bit flat and losing all its original meaning.

Unfortunately, yes and there’s no trace left of heart, passion, or healthy anger.

The shore returns the carcass of a group, while a few meters away, mannequins smelling of plastic are ready to clap their hands.
