THE REVIEW

Just returned from a beautiful film, where "the mountain does it" and where "what is not told does not happen."

A world apart is a great movie about the school and its ability to survive even on the margins of society.

The Cesidio Gentile school, also known as Jurico, becomes the emblem of a struggle in which the protagonists Michele Cortese (Antonio Albanese) and Agnese the vice-principal (Virginia Raffaele) make no concessions to anyone, even at the cost of bending the rules, making a disabled person and a support teacher appear.

Rupe does not meet the fate of Speroni, and in the end, the protagonists fall in love, and instead of returning to Rome, where he had requested a transfer from, he stays another year.

Beautiful shots of wolves and the eagle, a grand finale with "Agnese" and "Taglia la testa al gallo" by Ivan Graziani, as the images of the shepherd who learned the letters of the alphabet and to write poems are shown.

A mention also for the young actors of Pescasseroli, all taken from the location and non-professionals.

My rating is 5 stars for a beautiful story of life.
