René Goscinny (1926–1977) and Albert Uderzo (1927–2020) were French comics creators best known as the co-creators of the Asterix series. Goscinny primarily worked as a writer; Uderzo primarily worked as an artist.

The animated film The Twelve Tasks of Asterix (Le Dodici Fatiche di Asterix, 1976) was conceived by Goscinny for the screen and later adapted into a reading version. The duo are publicly credited as the creators of the Asterix comic series.
