… This film is a true delirium! It is probably the least known film of Pozzetto, as well as his directorial debut.

It tells the story of a high society lady (Mariangela Melato) who falls in love with a street saxophonist (Pozzetto). The story might seem trivial, if it weren't for the fact that during the film there is a continuous succession of absolutely improbable and surreal situations leading up to the improbable surprise ending…

Directorially, the film is quite poor, you can see the lack of an experienced director, the pace is a bit slow, but the comic gags are on par with the best of Cochi and Renato, indeed Pozzetto's cabaret partner makes two splendid appearances, shining especially in the "staging" of "the usual sermon," a great classic of the duo (present on the album "e la vita, la vita"). The crazy and bizarre situations are countless, featuring all the great protagonists of Milanese cabaret: Teo Teocoli, Massimo Boldi, Giorgio Porcaro, Felice Andreasi, Guido Nicheli (the legendary Zampetti from "I ragazzi della terza C," unfortunately dubbed here), Diego Abatantuono…

The soundtrack is top-notch, thanks to the expert hand of the good Enzo Jannacci, with an absolutely irresistible main theme, co-written with the late Beppe Viola and Pozzetto as well as the screenplay.

In short, a must-see film for all fans of the surreal comedy of Cochi and Renato!
