Future Sound Of London. The group's translation itself would be enough to describe their music. Two DJs of English origin who, in the second half of the nineties, released one of the best electronic/ambient music CDs, namely "Dead Cities", managing to recreate real atmospheres of abandoned cities, claustrophobia, and pure psychedelia.

Their strength is knowing how to experiment with new and still little-known paths. For this reason, upon first listening to any of the group's work, the listener may feel disoriented. It's not music for everyone. You either like it or you don't. There's no middle ground. For many, it may sound like a wild, repetitive orgy of random sounds, but for others, it could be (like for me) something new, never heard before coming from futuristic industrial environments.

The CD includes not only decidedly ambient tracks but also others with an electronic imprint like "We Have Explosive". It is not an album to dance to. It is an album to listen to. Strongly advised against for those with little time to waste listening, or those who after a minute consider it a boring and ugly album. If you're not a fan of the genre, don't bother listening for even a minute.

Among the noteworthy songs, in addition to "We Have Explosive" (also featured in the eye-scorcher "Wipeout 2097"), are "Antique Toy", "Heard Killing", and "Dead Cities". But I repeat. To appreciate the album, it should be listened to completely from beginning to end. 5 stars for the ability to recreate decidedly perfect, futuristic ambient atmospheres.
