THE REVIEW

Surely, these 4th International are a piece of Japanese punk history, who released this "Nichijou Sei No Hakai Wa Wareware No Gensou" in 1983, offering energy, destabilizing lyrics and social critique, good rhythmic foundations, and almost non-existent solo parts.

11 short and direct songs, none of which reach two minutes, indeed half of them don't even reach 60 seconds. The titles are sometimes in Japanese and therefore not transcribable.

The first track is fast and almost schizophrenic in its singing, although in almost all the songs the voice is always "agitated"; lovely choruses in "Money Shock" and "Idealist", while the genre proposed doesn't differ from simple and direct punk-rock that sounds dated today but 25 years ago must have been quite impressive in the land of the rising sun.

The last "What Is Right" is also beautiful with its strange and frantic acceleration in the middle.

An album to binge all at once (well, it's not even 12 minutes in total...) honest and simple yet strange, especially in the vocal lines.

ZOT!
