THE REVIEW

Some may have caught a glimpse of them on stage at Live 8. "And who the hell are these guys?" Ladies and gentlemen, here are Razorlight, your next favorite band. While everyone in England is busy mimicking Franz Ferdinand, Razorlight heat up the guitars and give us 54 minutes of pure and thoroughly enjoyable rock'n'roll.

Each song lives its own life, there's even room for both vocal and instrumental fooling around. Among the best tracks are undoubtedly Rock'n'Roll Lies, VICE, Dalston, Rip It Up, the infectious Golden Touch, and Somewhere Else. But it is hard to find a bad song. Guitar riffs ready to take root in your brain, dazzling riffs, and technical prowess. This band is not just another next big thing from NME, but a reality ready to be repeated. Download to believe.

"Up All Night turns out to be a good album, if not very good, which many might find exaggerated."

"With beautiful lyrics, surprising guitar solos, and a scratched yet hypnotic voice, it's a shame the band got ruined with later albums."
