THE REVIEW

After the huge success of “... And out come the wolves”, which swept us away with its exhilarating ska, punk rock, and reggae, Rancid returns with a raw and aggressive album like never before, 35 minutes of music and anger … songs that last less than 2 minutes and convey a powerful energy.
That said, in this work by Rancid, Hardcore Old School predominates, but there are some melodic tunes reminiscent of their previous works, some examples: "Let Me Go", "Radio Havana", and "Rwanda". The CD kicks off with the blind fury of "Don Giovanni", and continues with intense and beautiful tracks including: "Disgruntled", "I am forever", "Poison", "Rattlesnake", "Meteor of war", "Dead Bodies".
A nice surprise from Rancid, who instead of photocopying a previous album, decided to deliver this "Rancid", a beautiful work that I recommend to everyone...

Summary by Bot

Following the success of '...And Out Come the Wolves,' Rancid's 2000 self-titled album shifts to a raw and aggressive hardcore punk style. The record is short but packed with energy, featuring fast-paced songs mostly under two minutes. Despite the harder edge, melodic tracks like 'Let Me Go' and 'Radio Havana' provide balance. The album is praised for its fresh approach rather than recycling past successes.
