The Raised Fist are Swedish and not Californian like the major representatives of punk-hardcore.
The space they have carved out in the hearts of those who listen to them is larger than that carved out by Sick Of It All, and perhaps only Propagandhi with the beautiful "Through The Ashes Of Empires" reach them. The sound they propose is urban rage shouted against the system and against anyone who makes this damn world a floating mess to live in.
Fucking hardcore in this latest album you can heavily feel the influences of Sick Of It All, in the first track, Agnostic Front seen with a punk twist. The voice, if you manage to remember or associate it, can also be found on the much more famous "Pain" by Soulfly from "Primitive", it's him who delivers on the chorus. Download "Back" and "Heartz Island Escapedes" because they are the most representative of the album's sound.
If you've been listening to NOFX for 10 years, listen to these guys who are definitely worth it. I also mention "Dedication" as their 5-star album.
